Ocean Fox Cotton Bay is a small, professional scuba diving and watersports centre based at the Davis Harbour Marina at the south end of beautiful Eleuthera. Our small size allows us to offer our clients a highly personalized level of service, so you can expect us to adapt to your needs as best we can.
As a general rule, we carry no more than six divers or twelve snorkelers on Top Dog or Under Dog, our 34 foot custom boats. This ensures that our divers receive unhurried attention from their dive guide, and are able to observe the marine life at their own pace.
We do our best to ensure that the conditions are right for you to dive. If we think the ocean is too rough for an enjoyable dive to be made, we will tell you so. Likewise, if the conditions are great but about to take a turn for the worse, we will call you and give you the opportunity to dive whilst you still can. We know how we like to be treated as divers, and so we try to treat you the same way.
We like to do as much for you as possible, so that you have more time to relax and enjoy yourself. To this end we carry all your equipment to and from the dive boat, we set up your tank (unless you request otherwise), and help you don your equipment before you take the plunge.
Relax! This is your vacation! Underwater we endeavour to find new marine life for you to observe, whether it be one of the big ones, such as a Shark, Ray, or Turtle, or something out of the ordinary, like a Spotted Drum, Indigo Hamlet, or Lettuce Slug.
The South Eleuthera wall is an underwater image-maker's dream. If you have an underwater camera, be sure to bring it. We offer instruction in taking photographs with digital underwater camera systems, so consider booking a session with us, and get your PADI Specialty whist you are here. For those of you interested in underwater video, we have a Sony HD Video with an Amphibico Evo HD Elite housing and video light for rent. Shoot your own underwater video and either take the raw footage back home to edit, or have us create a DVD of your dives for you.
